Story
Too bad All Karma isn't as great as our KARMA!! This uniquely striking, two-year-old beauty is ready for her forever home! She has been fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Her markings are as unusual as her blue-flecked eyes and bobbed-tail. Her heritage depends on who you ask; but, we believe she may be a mix of Catahoula and German Shorthaired Pointer. Karma weighs approximately 45 pounds and has a happy, energetic personality. She isn't short on intelligence, either! She has learned her basic commands during her short while in Foster Care - as well as being crate and leash trained! She does great with other dogs and loves to play. A couple of little quirks that her Foster Mom says Karma has is that she insists on kisses before bedtime, and she has one special squeak-toy that she takes everywhere. =) She is an endearing girl, that Karma!! We are now searching for the loving family that is going to appreciate and care for this good Karma for the rest of her life! Please apply today, if that family is yours! You will find her adoption application near her photos on our website: www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats,
Story
Panda was found emaciated and pregnant tied to a tree. She had her babies and the finder found homes for all but one and Panda. They contacted us to take the puppy, but Panda was still emaciated and sickly because they didn't know how much to feed her and hadn't wormed her, so we couldn't leave her behind. We took her in and in just 10 days we've fattened her up and she's doing great! She's a young dog, probably 2 years old and she's very sweet and friendly. Great with kids, adults, and other animals! If you're interested in meeting Panda, the first step is filling out an application at bit.ly/starlightadopt . Her adoption fee will cover spay surgery, rabies vaccination, DHLPP, microchipping, and a free vet exam!

Story
I am currently fostering this sweet pup, I found her wandering my apartment building. She seems to weigh around 20-25 pounds. We will be going to the vet this week and I will update information as I have it. I have two other dogs that she plays well with. She has not tried to jump on any of the furniture thus far. She slept peacefully next to my bed and had no issues going outside this morning to potty. When I left for work I left her in the kennel and she cried for a minute then didnt seem to mind it. I have no idea what breed she is.

Story
Cara was dumped off by my in laws house. My mother in law took her in but could not keep her. We took her in and fell in love with her. She is about 2 years old. She loves to play outside with her paw brother Teddy(Whom we are also trying to rehome) they play well together and with other dogs. They both require a lot of attention as they have a lot of energy. Would be nice if they have a huge fenced in yard or several acres to play on. Cara loves to run and stretch those legs. I think she would be a good hunting type dog if trained properly. She loves to play fetch and tug o war. She loves the scratches behind the ears. She’s a great cuddler and guard dog. I hate to get rid of her but our family has grown and they both require a lot of attention that we cannot give them anymore. We feel like they are being neglected and don’t think it is fair for them. We want them to be in a happy home running and playing like they should.
