Story
I'm Rim (aka Fritz Von Erich) and I'm looking for my forever home. I was brought in as a stray but have settled in with my foster family. I love to play with my foster brother and sister but am also content to just be near humans or relax on my own. I love all humans and let them give me tons of attention. I am a hunter and explorer so a yard with a high fence (6 foot+ solid fence required) would be best and I will chase small (sometimes large) critters. I'm good for short bursts of energy but my endurance is not all that great. A harness would be good for me because I'm very strong  I love car rides and get super excited whenever we go places. Meet Apple! (not related to Gwyneth Paltrow) Delicious Apple is a gorgeous liver and white German Short Haired Pointer.  A typical high energy pointer, I can tell you, she is quite the hunter. She is the best frog hunter in Texas. She is always seeking birds but she just points at them. We have two birds living in a large shrub and she must stop at the bush to check the birds every five minutes. We have had her for about five weeks and she is adjusting nicely. How is she around other dogs? She was raised with her litter mates so she is used to having other dogs around. She plays hard with my three dogs and I have had no problems at all. She will need some leash training as I don’t think she was walked much. She is crate trained, however! She is on the small side for a pointer but average for a female. (Really, I think I prefer a medium-size pointer. She is so much easier to handle.) she is my little Honeycrisp! Junebug is fixed, Jasper is not neutered but I’m willing to financially support that decision if it’s needed. They are outdoor pups and require lots of room to romp and run. These two are amazing with young children and other dogs of all sizes.
