Story
Health: Diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, was placed on daily maintenance meds. Received surgery on left rear leg for luxating patella. Due to Tobi's age and health we have opted to only do the Rabies Vaccine(3year). He was treated for Whip worms, Hook Worms, ear mites and Giardia.  --------------- Temperament: This little “Panda Bear” is Tobi. He is 13 years young and is the ultimate cuddle bug. He would be happy to spend his days in your lap or by your side. Tobi is very quiet, unless he wants attention. Then he will tell you exactly what he wants. Tobi wanted it known you can’t get to this wizened age, without some moderate health issues. Like most senior Poms he has a slightly collapsed tracheae, luxating patellas, and a managed heart issue. These iss ues are easily managed with proper care, so don’t let them put you off. Tobi is doing great with potty training, as long as he sticks to a strict schedule. Belly bands also help with his potty training (if you don’t know about these, just ask us. They are life savers with male dogs!). Do you have the forever lap Tobi has been searching for? ---------------------- Where did he come from:  He came from a very filthy puppy mill where he was left outside in the elements his whole life.  He came with millions of fleas and lots of hair loss where he had scratched himself.  He deserves better now.    ------------------- Adoption: $216.50 ($200 fee + $16.50 required 8.25% sales tax) ---------- Weight: 9.5 lbs.------------- Approximate DOB: 9/30/2006 -------------   ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application--------------   Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application.--------------------   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.---------

Story
Adoption: $433.00 ($400.00 fee + $33.00 required 8.25% sales tax)  Weight: 10.9 lbs. Birthdate: 7/8/2010 Health: She has limited vision in her left eye and is possibly blind in her right eye. Chronic dry eyes, will need drops in eyes 3 times daily for the rest of her life.  It’s quite a commitment.  Temperament: Super sweet little girl with lots of love to give. She is friendly when you first meet her and even comes right up to you for loving. She is very thankful for a soft warm bed to sleep on and is extremely tolerant at being handled. Favorite Activities: Getting belly scratches and napping on the bed with you. Where did she come from:  owner surrender - owner could no longer care for her  Additional information:    Although we do our very best to make sure your adopted dog is in tip-top shape and health prior to adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since all our dogs are kept in the same house, it’s always possible to spread kennel cough and not see the symptoms until shortly after adoption.     ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application   Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application.   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.---------

Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** Daisy had three mammary tumors removed.  No other obvious health issues noted during vet exam. ***** Temperament: This sweet girl has been passed around quite a bit.  She is a little unsure but she does warm up and become affectionate after a while.  She was loved once upon a time but after her original owner died, she has suffered from neglect.  No one was cruel to her but they didn't really know how to care for a dog.  She came to us with lots of matted thin hair and hard poop trapped in her tail hair.  We had to cut away a big chunk of her hair and half of her tail hair.  It will grow back though.  She will be beautiful again someday.  She does not like to be crated so that will be a problem if you need to ever crate her long term.  She will bark until you let her out even if it's hours later.  She does well in the house if you let her outside often enough.  She's not destructive so I don't see many reasons to need to crate her.    -- Where did she come from:    She was bought from a breeder in Arkansas.  Her owner passed away and her son took Daisy into his care.  However, he did not take good care of her at all so his sister took Daisy away.  Then the sister had a stroke and went into a coma and her husband tried to take care of Daisy the best he could.  He had kids and could not afford to care for Daisy financially... though he did the best he could.  He surrendered her to our rescue.  So Daisy has been passed around quite a bit and we would like to place her into a home that will take excellent care of her.     Adoption: ***** $400.00 plus $33 sales tax***** Weight: 10 lbs. Actual DOB 2/16/11 ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application  -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.--------
