Apply at https://www.fordogssakerescue.org/application 3/27/2020-Introducing Nonny: Estimated Date of Birth (DOB): 1/21/2018, German Wirehaired Pointer/English Pointer mix, female, 49 pounds, house trained, crate trained, good with cats Nonny was left a kill shelter in Alabama. She was Heartworm positive and looked like she had lost all hope. The second she walked outside with rescuers, she brightened right up and bounced all around in pure delight! She is now healthy and ready to start her happy ending. Nonny is a fun loving goofball that is ready to find her forever family. Nonny is still very much a puppy. She LOVES to play with people, other dogs, and toys. Nonny has an adventurous spirit and loves to be out and about. She really loves going for walks and hikes. Her favorite part is making new friends along the way. She gets very excited seeing them coming down the path and is still learning not to pull on the leash. Nonny would do best with an active home. She rides well in the car. She is a total sweetheart who loves being with people. She is a cuddle bug who does not realize her own size as she climbs right on your lap! She follows her foster mom around the house just to be close to her. Nonny gets along with the cat in foster home. (The cat ignores her most of the time but if it was up to Nonny she would smell the cat and try to engage him in play). Nonny has learned sit, lay down, and present her paw. Nonny gets along best with more submissive dogs, but can be a bit too much for some of the dogs she meets. Nonny really loves playing and would do best with a canine sibling that was just as playful. * The adoption fee of $375 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, USDA interstate health certificate, and transport fee. * The application is the first step in all inquiries and adoptions https://www.fordogssakerescue.org/application * Questions?
