Ollie is a golden doodle that was born around May of 2018. He can be the biggest sweetheart once he gets to know you but he does need some time to learn to trust.  Ollie is a bit high strung and because of his young age still likes to sometimes do the puppy biting, but has been working hard on not doing it.  Ollie's foster mom likes to take him on car rides to the gas station and he stays calm and quiet. The cashiers even like to come out and give him treats. He is crate and house trained and absolutely loves toys! Be prepared for stuffing though; he will chew right through them. Ollie loves to cuddle his family and will lounge around with you. Hugs are his best quality! He sometimes does jump on you to give you his full attention but that again is something he has been working on getting out of the habit of doing.  But because of this and his potential for puppy biting, he will only be adopted to families with no children in the home. The suggested adoption donation for Ollie is $450.  We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.  Your donation goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, as well as providing supportive services to animals in homes. Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION.  Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dog’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match.  If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet.  The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note:  We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter.  We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs.  If you and the dog are not a good match, we will help you select another dog, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. She is slowly learning to trust humans, but having another dog around her would be best! She is doing okay with potty training, but has some work ahead of her to be comfortable on a leash. Unfortunately, Kathy has a hip issue that will require extra consideration and possible treatment in the future. A home without many stairs, older children, and low-energy dogs would be best. She is slowly learning to trust humans, and enjoys having dog friends to play with. She is working on potty training and walking on a leash. She has learned how to go up and down the stairs already! She is doing quite well with potty training, but has some work ahead to be comfortable on a leash.The lucky people who choose to share Fauna's retirement by making her part of their family will need to be patient, but each bit of progress and trust earned is sure to be a gift!

Avalynn is a beautiful, sweet, shy 5 year old Golden Retriever. She is still pretty skittish, but is working very hard to learn to trust people in her foster home. She is a breeder release dog, who has spent her whole life having puppies, and is now ready to just be loved by her forever family. She likes other dogs and would do best with older kids. Another confident dog in the home would be very beneficial to help her learn to be a dog.
