Story
Blondie was found in the streets after having been attacked by a group of street dogs. A neighbor found her and brought her to the shelter to be cured. She was told to belong to a security agent in the area, but no one ever came to claim her. In the beginning she became so depressed that she didn’t eat for almost a month. After realizing that she wasn’t in a bad place and becoming more comfortable she started eating again. Blondie should be in a home with no other animals! She is about 6 years old and weighs about 60 pounds, she has been at the shelter for about 5 years. She is fine with children but would prefer a calm household. We are looking for someone with a fenced in yard with someone who is almost always home to help him acclimate to his new life, country, home, language and weather! Blondie comes from a shelter in Mexico that has difficulty adopting larger breed dogs and older dogs! We are very happy to be partnering up with them so that they can send us as many dogs as possible, therefore opening up a place in their shelter and thus being able to take more homeless dogs off the street and find them homes! Blondie a été retrouvée dans les rues après avoir été attaquée par un groupe de chiens de rue. Un voisin l'a trouvée et l'a amenée au refuge pour être guérie. On lui a dit d'appartenir à un agent de sécurité de la région, mais personne n'est jamais venu la réclamer. Au début, elle est devenue si déprimée qu’elle n’a pas mangé pendant près d’un mois. Après avoir réalisé qu’elle n’était pas au mauvais endroit et être devenue plus à l’aise, elle a recommencé à manger. Blondie devrait être dans une maison sans autres animaux ! Elle a environ 6 ans et pèse environ 60 livres, elle est au refuge depuis environ 5 ans. Elle va bien avec les enfants mais sera par préférence dans une maison calme. Blondie vient d'un refuge au Mexique qui a du mal à adopter des chiens de grandes races et des chiens plus âgés ! Nous sommes très heureux de nous associer à eux afin qu'ils puissent nous envoyer le plus de chiens possibles, ouvrant ainsi une place dans leur refuge et ainsi pouvoir sortir plus de chiens sans abri de la rue et les retrouver chez eux !
