Hello Indiana! My name is HOOPLAH!! Isn`t that fun to say? I am four years old and weigh 62 pounds. I`d love to find my forever home, are you looking for a forever dog? I`m your guy! I have lived with another small dog before and a child as well. So maybe a home with either might be a good fit for me. I`m a really active guy, maybe someone who likes to go for walks or runs might be nice! It`s hard to meet new people and pets quickly after leaving the shelter. I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. We`ll have pleanty of time to get to know everyone! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision. Story
Duke is 8 years old and came to us from animal control due to the need for medical care. Duke had a mast cell tumor which has been removed and he is doing well. He is diabetic, so he will need care and management for that. Duke is a big, friendly, goofball of a dog. He is easygoing and seems to do well with other dogs and cats. He might be a bit much for small children as he is strong and doesn't seem to realize his size. Duke has been a family pet for his entire life and we would love to see him have that chance again.  Thank you for your interest in adopting from HMF.  All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description.  Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. We hold a monthly adoption event on the last Saturday of each month from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. at the new Center Grove Pet Valu store. 5885 N St Rd 135 Bargersville IN Direct questions to:  general@hopemariesfund.org

I have had her since she was a puppy. I love her to death but as I have a new job, I don’t have the time she needs. I also recently moved to a smaller house. I don’t want to rehome her but I think it is best because I am working all the time. She is cage and house trained. She is currently on fromm gold dog food it’s about $65 for 25 pounds of food and she loves cuddles.
