For those of you who follow us, you may remember a litter of 9 Great Dane puppies we put up for adoption and I am very happy to introduce Daddy Dane: Behold Zeus!! On the outside, Zeus is every inch a purebred Great Dane, but in his mind, Zeus is convinced that he's a Labrador Retriever and he's got the fetching prowess to prove it!! Just watch his video and we bet you'll believe that Zeus just might be a very long-legged Lab!!
Zeus is a hunk of love who is one-of-a-kind! He shakes, sits, lays down, and, of course, Fetches any ball you can throw! Zeus loves to be right next to you, or leaning against you . . . and Velcro Dane Lovers expect that! He loves people and does so well with the kids and adults at his foster home. He's also being fostered with other dogs, and he prefers to be the alpha so any other dogs in the house will have to let him wear The Crown. Zeus can also catch treats out of the air (as seen in the video, too!) He walks amazingly on a leash, with no pulling, but if you're teasing him with that ball, or taking too long to throw it, he's been known to do the Dane Tackle!!
Zeus is about 5 years old, he weighs about 125 pounds and he's very healthy. While we were finding homes for his puppies, he was being treated for heartworms and he is 100% heartworm-free.
