Maggie is a sweet girl who had a rough start on life. She is timid and nervous, but loves snuggles and cuddling (even in you lap) when she warms up. Maggie needs someone who will love and take the time to let her open up. Maggie does not do well with younger kids or small dogs as their quick movement still scares her.She was born in July 2018.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, insurance for 30 days, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Solo is handsome boy who was found wandering the streets of South texas. He has been through heartworm treatment and finished all his vetting. He is potty trained and crate trained. He is not a good fit for a home with children and would do best with someone who has breed experience with a Great Dane. He has definitely been a home where he was mistreated so he is reactive to certain things, and he will benefit from someone who can understand that. Overall, Solo wants a home where he can get all the belly rubs and have doggie siblings of his own. He is so sweet with his foster parents and their small dog, and would make a great addition to any home with other dogs and adults.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Gunner is a male, approximately 4-5 years old, 110 lbs, and we have had him for a little over two years. He was originally rescued by a friend of a friend when they discovered that he was being kept in a tiny kennel in someone’s back yard nearly 24-7. My wife and I met him and brought him home that night and he has been with us since. Unfortunately, we are in desperate need of a new home for him. Due to recent work schedule changes for my wife and I, Gunner is having to spend longer amounts of time by himself, sometimes 10 hours at a time. Gunner is social and seems to get along with other dogs very well. Our two son’s dogs also lived with us until just recently and the three dogs ran and played together daily. He is kennel trained and house broken and will knock on the back door when he needs to go outside. He minds well and likes to shake hands/paws. He is heart worm negative and has no known health issues and is very healthy.

Luna is an 8 month old Great Dane & Catahoula mix. She&#39s a giant puppy and will be a giant adult! Luna is dog friendly and would probably be great with kids, although she is a jumper so she&#39ll need some fine tuning on that! Luna would love to have a dog friend in her new home! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Beautiful, sweet Bon Jovi is 3 years old and professionally trained to be a very good boy. Walks well on a leash and he is comfortable around horses, chickens and cattle. He' s a goofy boy who loves to play, splash in puddles, and go for car rides. He also loves to just hang out with his person.He's good with dogs his own size or would be fine as an only dog with an active family. We recommend a home without small children or animals as BJ is very playful and might not recognize the size difference.If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.Bon Jovi is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
