Story
San Antonio, TX-Charlie is a 5-6 yr old altered male who is absolutely a sweetheart. He loves everyone he meets, especially men. Very dog friendly with all he has met. Do not know about cats or children. He is always happy and loves to cuddle. He is leash trained and house trained. Knows how to sit when told. Charlie is crate trained although it does take a bit of a push and convincing to go in. Left open he will go in on his own and nap on his terms. All around he's perfect for anyone who wants to be loved on by a gentle giant! Charlie is also neutered.

Story
Bonded pair!!!!  Tyler TEXAS Leia is a real lover girl. She enjoys her giant dog pillow on the floor, she is not a couch potato. She also enjoys being outside unleashed and does not run off and listens and minds me when called. She too is crate trained, goes in willingly without a fuss. And she too enjoys a truck ride in the backseat and jumps in willingly. Neither are counter surfers. Neither were bothered when they saw a cat in the yard. Jango is a two year old, intact male, crate and house trained. Very affectionate and enjoys playing with his toys. He is codependent on Leia and simply can not be separated from her. He enjoys being a couch potato and loves to go outside unleashed. He minds me very well and does not run off. He willingly crates. He also will jump up in the back seat of the truck and enjoys the ride!

Story
Scurry, TXSam Doo is a big, goofy boy who loves his people. This distinguished senior coming in at nearly 9 years old(birthday in February) has proper manners. Sam does not get on the furniture even when everyone else does. He is house trained and uses the doggy door like a seasoned professional. Still a kid at heart, Sam loves all types of balls and will carry one around with him all day; he will even bring it to bed with him. His foster mom says that Sam Doo gets along w other dogs except intact males, but she is trying to teach him avoidance. Like most Danes, he is big and clumsy when playing and may unintentionally step on very small dogs. His foster mom is also working on leash training. He does fairly well on walks, but he does pull. His foster family is also working on his doggy treat manners because he wants everyone’s treats. Sam is older and has the scars to prove it, and he is very sweet! He is on joint supplements, needs a soft bed and help getting in and out of cars/trucks. His back end just doesn’t seem to support him when getting in and out. He is a great dog who deserves a terrific forever family! Fill out an application today. For more information, please email us at srgdrr.inc@gmail.com. Story
Allen, TX-Magnus is house broken, uses a doggie door, still pulling on leash but learning daily, he loves to play fetch with a ball or squeaky toy, he loves the cheap stuffed squeaky toys and does not destroy and scatter the stuffing! He wants to play with cats but chases when they run, he did live with one before, he is scheduled for his first play date with me Sunday so we will see how that goes. He lived with a small terrier/chi sized dog before and was best buds with it.he loves to play and will bring you toys for attention! He's a real snuggler! When he sleeps he wants to be touching his human. No snoring! I do not crate train, but with a doggie door, free feeding and free flowing water, he has been left alone in the house for 9 hours with no issues. Not even trash! He still needs slow introductions to new people but warms up after a bit. Does not trust kiddos so would be best in a home with none under the age of 12-13. A gentle consistent but firm touch is what works best in his training. He responds great to positive praise, treats and toys! He is looking for a strong loving pack leader and for guidance. He loves to go for rides in the car and will sit and wait for the command to load up. Magnus also will step right into the bath tub for bath time. Story
Lone Oak, TexasThis is Annie, she was part of a hording case with her mother and father that we rescued late 2019. She is the smallest of the three she probably will not be much over 100 pounds.Annie is super sweet, right now, she is very afraid of everything. When she first came into the rescue, she would “Army Crawl” everywhere because she was so afraid. She still spooks easy and seems not to have a lot of confidence yet, but it will come! Annie gets along just fine with all of our pets, and loves to play with the puppies. She is very intelligent, and very alert. It has taken the longest to earn Annie’s trust, and I have spent a lot of time with her. The current foster does not have many people coming, and going, so she seems to be a little leery of others. We believe Annie will be best in a home that is quiet and mellow.Annie is well behaved, and does not get into things, and she will not tear anything up. She walks on a leash with a harness, however, we still cannot get a regular collar on her, without her getting spooked. Annie is currently potty-pad trained, because we are unable to let her out as often as the others. Annie will sit with you forever, and let you pet her. Annie has absolutely no aggression whatsoever; we have been able to clip her nails without any issues. She has no problem sharing food even with the puppies. Annie is micro-chipped, heart-worm negative, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. For more information, please email us at srgdrr.inc@gmail.com.
