This sweet sensitive soul is a 2 yr old Great Pyrenees. Kodi gets along with other dogs, although he is probably best as an only dog in the home. Kodi loves to cuddle, is very affectionate, and will be loyal to his owner. He will be your best friend. This breed requires a lot of exercise and needs space so a very secure yard with high fence or wall is a requirement for this boy since he can be an escape artist and instinctively wants to roam. He’s a natural guardian with some resource guarding. Looking for someone with understanding and experienced with powerful working dogs. Kodi should not be in a home with children. He is currently living with a trainer so he will need a foster to adopt willing to implement his continued training. He’s learning boundaries, structure, and obedience. Whats great is his trainer will be available during & after adoption with any help you might need! Sunny von Sulm is a stunning 9 month old, lovable Great Pyrenees mix (our guess) whose fluffy fur coat does not shed! Bred to be a big guy, Sunny’s happy persona and easy-going temperament aim to please. If his puppy mischievousness warrants correction on occasion, he will lower his head and look sad at the thought that he may have disappointed you -- he is a connoisseur of shoes and socks but can be easily distracted if a soft dog toy or a kong is offered in exchange. He has been fostered with other dogs, both large and small. If he finishes his meal first, he waits and watches patiently until the other dogs complete theirs before politely approaching to lick out their bowls. This furry love is well on his way to being housebroken, and he has a big-boy bark that alerts to strangers. Sunny was born with a deformed front leg that didn’t touch the ground, so the vet advised that it would be best for Sunny to have it removed. He has completely recovered, can run like a champ and hop in a single leap onto a king-size bed. Sunny is eligible for adoption in or out of state. RODEO is the definition of a Rhinestone Cowboy! Not only does he have flashy good looks but his DNA results prove that he is quite a unique gem. Like many rescue dogs, his life has been off to a bit of a sad start. He was surrendered to the East Valley Animal Shelter because his family was moving to a place that didn’t allow dogs. Like the song says, "You're ridin' the RESCUE TRAIN that's takin' the long way." We know this buckaroo is destined for greatness and a wonderful FURever home! At 85 pounds and a year old, Rodeo is still growing. Because of his grand stature, he would require a home with a yard (NOT AN APARTMENT), a big dog lover with strong handling experience and a structured environment. He is crate trained, good on leash, and plays well with other friendly dogs similar in size. Mostly comprised of Great Pyrenees, he has the potential to be protective of his family. Australian Cattle Dog and Border Collie as secondary breeds, mean someone familiar and knowledgeable with herding breeds would be highly recommended. Rodeo is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and whoever is lucky enough to adopt this rooty tooty cowboy will get an in-home dog training lesson as part of his adoption.
