Story
Denali had a rough start in life. She was left by herself on a farm in New Mexico where she had little to no human or dog socialization. This had led her to be hesitant of other dogs. She use to cower at home, not getting very far off the ground and struck with fear. She also had never walked on a leash, so she can still be hesitant to go to unfamiliar places. However, over the last couple months she has become so social! She loves humans and greets them with a wagging tail and lots of excitement. Although she is sweet towards humans, she has gotten into a couple dog fights regarding food and toys, so she should be the only dog in the home. Her favorite thing in the world is playing with toys and falling asleep in the snow. She is incredibly goofy and uncoordinated, and is so eager to please her owners. When this girl gets in play mode she loves to bound around and run around with her humans. She loves squeaker toys and will tilt her head back and forth with an adorably puzzled look.

Story
For more info go to www.summitdogrescue.org Layla is a 18 month old, beautiful girl who is looking for her forever home. She is either a Pyr mix or possibly a purebred Maremma. We are going to DNA test her. She needs a home with some space - ideally a mountain home or a few acres out by Gunbarrel or Niwot would be fabulous. She loves hiking, snuggling and playing. Summit Dog Rescue thinks Layla will do best in a rural setting, as she's a livestock guardian and likes to bark when outside in the yard. In fact, that's the job she's been bred to do! Preference given to someone with acreage OR someone with livestock guardian experience. LGD experience a plus. Apply on our website, or learn more about her and our process.

Story
At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary, but all include spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccinations and deworming, rabies vaccine at the time of spay or neuter, and 30 days of pet insurance. We also cover hernia repair and cherry eye repair at the time of spay or neuter. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##612546##
