*I am an 18-month-old Great Pyrenees, American Eskimo, Staffie, Chow mix (DNA tested) weighing 50 pounds. *Before rescue, I lived outside in a pen with my 6 siblings. So I was poorly socialized with humans the first year of my life. * I hate walking on a leash, because I’ve never had to, but my foster mom and I are working on it. *I am shy and take a little bit to warm up to people. * I LOVE other dogs! They are all I’ve known and help me feel confident, so I NEED a dog playmate. * I would likely do well with cats, but no cats live in my foster home. * I prefer older kids (so they know to respect and give me my space at first). * Physical fenced required. No electric fences for me. * I am crate and house trained.

Rusty is a 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees/American Eskimo (DNA tested) mix weighing 40 pounds. He was rescued from living in a pen outside with 6 of his siblings. Dog-friendly. Cat friendly. Best with older kids since he has a timid personality. Working on leash walking. Currently flails and cries when he feels the leash tugged. This is why physical fenced yard is preferred. My children and I have recently been displaced from a very bad situation and I'm trying to rebuild. This breaks my heart but I have to find these good boys a new home. They are 4 years old and we have had them since they were puppies. They are @60lbs-Great Pyr/Golden Retriever mix. They are up to date on shots and microchipped. However, they are not fixed. They are gentle and lazy dogs. They love belly and ear rubs. They are content lying on your feet. While they have always been indoor dogs... They do need a secure fenced yard to frolic in everyday. Due to thier breeds they do shed and need frequent grooming/brushing. They are amazing and extremely loved boys. Please help me find someone to give them and amazing loving home. They have been around cats and dogs in our home but need time to acclimate to making new friends.

We "rescued" Harley from a small house and yard because we have a farm. He always tries to run away. Husband has bad arthritis and we can no longer take care of him, besides,he needs a flock of something to look after. We wanted to try this before we surrendered him. He's a sweet and VERY gentle dog.

Story
Zumi is a big boy with big feelings. Once you get to know Zumi and he gets to know you, you will find him to be a hilarious goofball. He loves to eat sticks and play fetch with them (retrieval rate is maybe a 35% but hey, he's trying!) He is trained to use both a Halti head collar and a muzzle. He is actually really good at training in general! He has his favorite people here and he becomes a complete puppy when he sees them. Zumi's best feature is that he LOVES other dogs. He has never had an issue here with another dog. Even dogs who were trying to be negative with him, he would always meet them with a play bow or walking the other way to give them space. He is such a fantastic helper dog in our play groups. Zumi has issues with kids, and with strangers. It takes him a while to warm up to people, he was bred to protect and be a guard dog and on top of it was not socialized when young. He will need a home that understands this. A person who sees how perfectly loveable this guy is and has a quiet household or who is willing and able to manage his anxieties and guarding instincts. The payoff is huge, as you will have a giant protector who will make you laugh every single day.
