Story
Scout is an active pup that loves to play. He is a pretty outgoing boy. He is working on house training and has been do doggie daycare so is pretty well socialized.  He doesn't seem to have any resource guarding issues or other dog aggression but he does like to chase cats.  We believe he more wants to play than hurt.

Story
Hi I’m Steve! I a 1 year old Great Pyrenees/Shepherd/Italian Greyhound/Lab mix! I was dumped in the middle of nowhere with my siblings, so I had a pretty rough start to life, but it’s better now!! I’m the sweetest boy you’re ever meet, and will give you the best hugs. I’m extremely laid back and chill, and just want to be next to my people. I’m looking for someone that loves to snuggle, long walks (not to brag, but I’m awesome on a leash), will keep working with me on this whole “catch” thing, and will just love me as much as I love them. I can still be timid at times, but that doesn’t happen very often anymore. I’m a pretty happy and outgoing guy! I’m kennel trained and housebroken, and I’ll come pull you by the hand or the shirt if I need to go outside. I am such a great boy, and can’t wait to find my forever home!

Story
Hi my name is Murphy. I was the last puppy caught when I was dumped on an abandoned road in Blanchard. I love my belly rubbed and running and wrestling with my brother, Teddy. My tail is always wagging and my whole body wiggles with happiness. I am crate trained and potty trained! I only chew on toys and I love to snuggle with them at night. I am trying to learn that car rides and leashes are ok and to trust new people but when I do I love with my whole heart. I am always happy and eager to please. I just need someone to love me for the rest of my life.

Story
My name is Matamata. I am a Great Pyrenees, I'm estimated to be 2.5 years old and I weigh about 100 lbs. My past life is a bit of a mystery, but my new life began when Bella SPCA rescued me from an overcrowded rural shelter. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I love being outside! I enjoy watching and stalking squirrels in the backyard and patrolling the yard. I LOVE going for walks - I do silly excited little hops when I hear the leash come out. I have pretty good leash manners.I've never pottied in the house and I'm great at communicating to my human when I want to go out. I sleep in a dog bed in the bedroom with my foster parents and their dogs at night. While "mom & dad" are gone during the day I have free roam of the house with my furry foster siblings. I have an unknown history with cats. In my foster home I have met some kids ages 2-7 and did well with them - I was curious and eager yet gentle when meeting them. The kids were polite and gave me my space too. I can be timid/nervous with lots of touching and invasion of my space so a family with no kids or older kids who know boundaries would be best. When I do get nervous in a situation I will cower or even collapse on the ground. For example, I will not allow people to pick me up. It scares me and I don't like it, I feel out of control; possibly something in my past created this fear. With time, patience and slow trust building this may change. Car rides also used make me very nervous but I'm working on that and I've become much more comfortable getting into a vehicle. I like to play with all the other dogs in my foster home, but I am a dominant female and would probably be best in a home without other large females dogs. That being said, I would be happiest in a home with a male friend because I get bored and lonely without a canine friend to keep me company. Great Pyrenees were breed to be guard dogs keeping watch over their livestock. I take my guarding seriously as I guard my home and my humans. My breed is known for being stubborn and let's just say I wear that badge of honor proudly! Great Pyrenees also like to explore so if I'm left in a backyard by myself and I get bored I've been known to climb a 6' privacy fence and go roaming. I'm looking for a patient, loving, forever home with people and a canine friend who need a goofy low-energy addition to their family. If you would like to meet me as much as I'd like to meet you, please fill out an application and the Bella staff will be in touch!
