Story
**It is important to research the Great Pyrenees breed prior to considering Lizzie.*** Lizzie is not a working Livetock Guardian Dog Lizzie is a 6yr old Great Pyrenees who is well behaved and gentle. She's house trained, crate trained, and does well in the car, as well as at the groomer and vet. She does well with other dogs but would do best with a larger male in her forever home because she is a dominant female - other females would not work. She does not do well with goats, and is questionable with smaller non dog/non cat animals, so she won't be placed as an LGD as a result. She a has a very long, wooly (beautiful) coat and will require constant grooming. She was so matted when she came into rescue that she had to be clipped down. However, it is a stunning coat and she is quite lovely and elegant at full length. Lizzie does require a securely fenced in yard of 5-6ft, as she can get out of a shorter fence, and she'll need to always be on a leash due to the Great Pyrenees roaming trait and the inability to trust her off leash.  Visit our website to learn more about our adoption process at www.k95rescue.org  ##373413##

Story
Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home.  Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR.  We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone.  Our job is to find those someone's.  Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog.  They come to us because they want to give a dog a home.  We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture.  While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face.  Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home.  We want to create furever families.  Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today.  We'll update as more information is known.  Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days?  If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application.  You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side.  You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available.  Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes?  Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email.  We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team   Date into Rescue: 7/10/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Maude was found as a stray and landed at the local shelter. Carolina Poodle Rescue pulled her from the local shelter.  Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Maude has had her dental and is ready for her forever home. Weight: 108.5 lb Height: in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? Yes What kind of home would be best for me? Maude's dream is a farm with a fenced yard so that she can enjoy strolls around the yard. Maude lives in an open area with 2 other dogs at our rescue. Other dogs bring her comfort and she'd love a home with at least one other dog. Maude would do well with children. What is my personality like? Maude is a very special girl with a caring and loving demeanor. She is good with all dogs and loves all people. She loves to hang out in the office and be a couch potato! She loves to be in the big field.  She eats at a comfortable pace and loves to be given treats. She is very gentle with everything she does. Maude doesn’t mind other dogs being in her space either. She will growl if another dog gets near her food bowl while she is eating but that’s it.  How do I act when I first meet new people? Friendly. Maude is eager to make new friends! Other tips and tidbits: Maude's estimated birthday is 7/10/2012 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.  If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip.  Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.   To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home.   You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc.  Others here may be a better fit for you.  It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description.  Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a  dog not in our listings yet.  We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.

Story
Acquired Bear five years ago from a old man on a farm. He had to get rid of him because the old man was sick and not in good health. I took him in and he has lived with my family and four kids for the last five years. Unfortunately I have a neighbor who does not like Bear and calls on him every time he comes out of my yard. So I am looking to re home him with someone who has land and not mean neighbors. He is a sweet dog and is good with kids even my toddlers. He gets along with other dogs, cats, pigs and even chickens. He barks when cars enter the driveway he does not know. Please call or text me if you need anymore information (xxx) xxx-xxxx Sean or my wife Candace at (xxx) xxx-xxxx .
