Up for adoption: This is AT's Dynavax (aka Alec) settling into his foster home. Alec is a light brindle. He turned 3 May 20th. His race weight shows as 74 pounds. He is cat friendly. Her race weight shows as 62 pounds, but she is about 60 pounds now. She is cat friendly. Go to Forms on the Greyt Info tab KyGreyhounds.org to complete your application. As always current and new applications will be reviewed to find the right fit for Rosie, could it be your home? She is doing well from her spay surgery which was Thursday, Sept 5. After she fully recovers her teeth cleaning will be scheduled, then she will she be “Ready Made” for your home. Up for Adoption: Nauti Boy turned 4 on Sept 7th. He is definitely NOT cat or small animal friendly. A high prey drive will most likely keep him out of dog parks too. Nauti is a big black, strong boy. There is already interest in this big Nauti Boy, who ironically…and typical of greyhounds, is very sweet. He enjoyed many snuggles on the transport from Orlando. KyG practices the "Right Hound, Right Home" philosophy. His neuter surgery is next week. After he fully recovers from the neuter, then her teeth cleaning will be scheduled…then on to the next step. This girly right here is Nola, her birthday is 9/11/13 and she is a Greyhound/Boxer Blend. She is quite the athlete, she can run fast as lightning. Nola is potty trained and an incredible lap dog. She loves snuggles and playing with her friends at the rescue. She is a neat freak and keeps her kennel absolutely immaculate. Nola however is an escape artist..... She can jump and clear fences if she wants so we recommend her being supervised outside all the time. Like we said quite the athlete. Nola is also intimidated by men when she first meets them. After she gets acclimated she does very well but she is prone to favor women. Nola is good with kids as long as they are respectful of her space, as for any dog. She is also great with cats and other dogs. Please give this soft, snuggly girl a chance, she will completely make you fall in love with her.
