Story
My name is Moose, although my foster dad calls me "Graceful" a lot. My foster family tells people I have a “neurological condition.” I am not sure what that is, but as they explain it to others, they say I tend to pace a lot more than greyhounds. Although, I happen to think my foster family’s greyhounds are just a little lazy. My foster family also says that I tend to stumble into things and can be klutzy. My foster family’s greyhounds tend to get mad at me and sometimes grumble at me. I am not sure what they are trying to tell me, but my foster dad always asks “would you like to be stepped on by a 85 lbs. dog?” It is hard to know where your feet are all the time. Regardless, I love to play with my foster dad. He takes me out to the backyard and we run and play until I am all tired out. He tells me I play a little rough and we are working on that, but I get so excited, it is hard not to jump around and run my heart out. My foster parents say I will need a “special home” because of my aforementioned neurological condition. I think I am just special and would be excited to get into that special home.

Story
Tall, dark, and handsome with soulful, searching eyes is what you may first notice about me.  Once you get to know me, you will also learn that I am loving, calm, patient, and kind as well. Fun and energetic, I enjoy trotting right next to you on walks. Being thin, it may surprise you that I LOVE to eat!  This is probably good to know so that if you want me to learn something, treats are a GREAT incentive to use.  If you are looking for a fun, loving, energetic boy to join your family, I am here, waiting, and ready!

Story
Hi, this is Malia here! Someone on the KC Greyhound Love FB page commented on my photo that “I love my life”, and boy, do I ever (well, except for the bath!)! Everything made me nervous to begin with, new people, different sounds and smells, a girl just didn’t know how to react. But y’know, it was all good stuff....a comfortable place to sleep, good food, lots of TLC, so it didn’t take me long to get used to it all and come back for more. And I love going outside....especially if there’s someone there to rub my tummy or my neck, and tell me what a pretty girl I am! We also go out for something called “a walk”, now THAT’S special! I get to sniff at all kinds of things - well, most of them! - and we go and go and go. There’s all kinds of things I want to visit on the way, some of them climb trees and others are on a leash just like me, only little (and they yap!), but I get talked out of that pretty quickly by my foster mom, she says I have squeaky toys in the toy box, whatever that means. I don’t mind as we get to walk further and there’s always more stuff to investigate. Perhaps foster mom means the fuzzy things that I am allowed to run around with at home, and some of them make weird noises! Those ones seem to disappear after everyone goes to bed, but that's ok, there’s always tomorrow with more of this life I love! It’s been so much fun, getting to know people who all seem to love me!

Story
I am not sure when I was born but everyone thinks I am about 2 years old.  My foster mom tells me that we don’t know anything about me before I was rescued from animal control in Southwest Oklahoma.  She told me that I’m so sweet, loving, and beautiful that it doesn’t matter, we are just looking ahead to my furever family and home.  If you saw me curled up and asleep in the tall green grass you might think I am a fawn.  I have a soft golden coat with a cream colored tummy.  I have speckles of that light cream color on my front and back legs. I am quite stunning I’ve been told.  Soft amber eyes with black liner that Cleopatra would be jealous of.  I can be very shy at first but once I get comfortable with you, you’ll get to see the happy girl.  I love life, rubs, walks, car rides, rubs, oh and kisses.  Could you welcome me into your home and be my furever family.

Story
Hi, my name is Teddy, and I am a handsome, blonde 2 year old boy. For a youngster, I am pretty laid back and chill. I love to watch and follow my foster mom and dad around to see what they are up to and just be close in case they want to love on me. Toys are amazing especially the squeaky ones. Also amazing is my foster sister, Aspen, who I enjoy playing tag with in the backyard. The 3 foster kids are so nice to me, and I enjoy watching them play as well as pet me gently. I am learning to walk well on a leash and being curious, I love exploring outdoors as well as indoors. Are you looking for a sweet, young boy to join your family?

Story
Super sweet, affectionate, and always happy are words I have hear people use to describe me. Who am I to disagree? My tail wags nonstop, and whereever you are is where I want to be. I am exuberant and yet gentle at the same time. There are so many sounds, sights, and smells I have never experienced that I am really curious to explore. One of the things I have been exploring recently is the different squeaky sounds toys make. I get all the toys out of the basket and arrange them in a circle around me and test each one to see if they squeak and what they sound like. Fascinating! Making new friends whether furry or human is easy for me because I love everybody, and it seems everybody loves me. I am a beautiful, blonde 2-year old girl. Do you have a place in your heart and home for someone like me?
