Story
Maple doesn't get along with her sister. She is protective of her toys, or jealous of our other dogs. She took a stick away from her sister and it escalated badly - and Maple ended up losing her front left leg. She does very well now as a tripawd. But we have to keep them separated all the time. And Maple escapes sometimes, and there have been more fights, and she has suffered as her sister is bigger and stronger. So Maple has been through three incidents of injuries and we just can't take the risk any more. She needs to have a new family. Maple should be an only dog. She is a sweetie with people and likes other dogs but should not live with them. She gets along with cats - she might growl at them if they encroach her food or space but she's never bitten or harmed any of our 4 cats. Maple is a 3 year old greyhound mix. She's got amazing character and is so loyal and happy to be with her people. She is a beautiful brindle color. The greyhound in her makes her lazy but fun.
