Story
Ruger came to me as a stray/foster. After not being able to find his owners I decided to keep him. He’s great with other dogs, unknown about cats. He loves everyone including being good with small children. He does need plenty of chew toys around or he will find whatever he thinks looks like a toy. I’m only re-homing him because I’m moving and can’t take him with me.

Story
Due to my circumstances substantially changing (specifically, having to change careers from one that allows me to work from home to one that requires me to be away for 10-12 hours at a time), I have to re-home my dog, Splash. Splash is a sweet family dog who loves to cuddle. She‘s a rescued 60 pound middle-aged Greyhound/Boxer mix with a beautiful brindle coat and enormous soulful eyes. She loves squeaky toys, is very food motivated, and learns tricks FAST. While she gets along with other dogs (e.g. at my girlfriend’s house and at the dog park), she would rather hang out with human-people. She spends a lot of time sleeping on the couch or hanging out near her people, including my 4- and 9-year old daughters. We aren’t sure how she is with cats, although there’s a cat at my girlfriend’s house, and there have been no problems up to this point. She has a previous leg injury which makes her appear to limp when she's walking but it doesn't bother her or slow her down 1 bit.

Story
We adopted Jasper off of this website, he is 4. He is a very good boy, knows how to sit, and shake. We were unaware that our apartments did not allow pets, everyone around us had dogs, so we assumed it was okay. Jasper is very sweet, and he needs someone who is going to have a lot of time for him. Myself, and my boyfriend, are both in school, and working full time. It just wasn’t the right time for us , we never got to connect, and we don’t want to take him to the pound. Please help us find this baby a furever home.

Story
Travel is a retired racing Greyhound. Born: April 2017 Cat Tolerant. Small Dog Tolerant. For more information on greyhounds and cat/small dog tolerance, Click Here for our Greyhound FAQ. Greyhounds are a gentle, sensitive breed. They have good temperaments and make ideal house pets because they love being near people, they are clean, quiet, undemanding, and take up a small amount of space (in spite of their size). Greyhounds actually need a small amount of exercise relative to other dog breeds. Most Greyhounds can be found lying around the house napping!
