Story
BENNY THE CAT AKA BENNIFERS, AKA BENNY BOY From the beginning, it was clear he wanted to fly solo. I tried to get him a female friend but despite a long introductory courtship, he never really wanted to share me. The feline love interest I had searched so long for had to go to my friend. About 2 years ago, I added a very friendly dog to the family but again, Benny insisted that this was his kingdom and increasingly, he has become Benny the Bully to the VERY patient 6-year old dog. He will have none of this sharing the affection stuff. As a result and also because a rather long and tricky move is imminent, I am realizing that he might be happier and less anxious in a home with no animal competition and a single owner. For a 14-year-old Benny is incredibly healthy! Every time he visits the vet she checks his age as she cannot believe it….no one can. I travel a bit and for short trips he is happy with a daily visit or boarding for longer ones.

Story
Meet Pickle! Pickle is part of our Working Cat Program. She is a beautiful kitty who has big feelings. She has a history of bonding with her person but is fearful of new people. She was surrendered because she was not getting along with the other female cat in the home. Pickle enjoys attention but quickly overstimulates so her ideal placement would be a barn home where she can freely express herself in her own space. For more information about a working cat please call or come on in!
