Callie was adopted from PetSmart for my husband’s elderly Alzheimer’s mother who was living in our home until weeks ago. Callie is primarily indoor, but likes a daily outside adventure. Unfortunately, we had to move his mom to a nursing home, and our schedules are extremely busy, so Callie is alone too often and misses his “mama”. Callie’s original name was Remy, but his mama renamed him “Callie” because she was confused about a cat she owned previous who was actually a small female Calico... named Callie. The new Callie who is now up for adoption is a neutered male, gray Tabby, who has been referred to as a girl for almost 4 years by his Alzheimer’s mama. Poor cat...😉 Callie is a good cat, but needs more companionship than we can offer. Callie needs a good home with someone who can provide regular back-scratches and doesn’t mind sharing a bed. Callie is quite athletic and can be very entertaining. My husband, a life-long cat lover says Callie is the best cat ever!
