Lazarus, also known as Laz, was so-named due to his return to a full and happy life in spite of a close brush with death. When he came to Cinderella, he had a leg which had been deformed due to being hit by a car. HIs leg had already healed but was withered and almost useless. On the advice of a vet, his leg was amputated at the shoulder, and today he gets around almost as well as a cat with four legs. He's a handsome, neutered male, with a gray tabby and white coat.Laz is currently in foster care in a home where he has daily interactions with other cats and dogs. He gets along well with all. He especially likes kittens and loves it when they curl up with him to sleep. He likes people and is quite friendly. He is a very muscular and solid cat who loves to play with toys and he can leap and run like any normal cat. Laz loves to get attention with lots of petting. Once he has had enough he lets you know with a gentle nip. Because of this, his ideal home would be one without small or extremely active children. He would be a super companion to a single person or for a couple.  ##47391##
