Story
Lucky Paws Is working on finding just the right home for Jackson & Casper. For an application:  https://www.luckypawsrescuewa.org/Specific inquiries can go to ellen.second.chance@gmail.com What a great breed!  Havanese are spectacular companions.  They are hypoallergenic, smart, want to please and have loving souls. Jackson (black beauty) and Casper (angelic white) lost their loving guardian the first week of April.  She was only in her 50's and took excellent care of both boys since they were pups.  They are very bonded and are looking for one home. Both Jackson and Casper are about fifteen pounds, affectionate, neutered, housebroken, love their walks, leash trained, enjoy car rides and a fenced backyard, are not escape artists, diggers or incessant barkers.  The boys are doggy door trained, never had a need to be crate trained, great with other dogs, never been around cats, wonderful with dog-savvy children ten and older, always been fed quality food, routinely groomed, and, if needed, benefited from responsible veterinarian care. Jackson is very loving and super gentle, He's a very mellow fourteen-year-old and loves to kickback on his cushy throne.  His human mom would always fold a few comforters (one on top of the other), passionately referred to as his 'cloud'.  Jackson has the beginning signs of cataracts, loss of hearing and a heart murmur.  No medication needs at this time.  Jackson had some teeth removed and quickly mastered the art of chewing food with his back teeth.  He's truly a go-with-the-flow kind of guy.  Casper is a spry twelve-year-old lap dog!  He has won championship competitions for this skill!  He will want to sleep right next to you and/or just hang out together on the couch.  He has thought about going on America's Got Talent because he can dance on the tip tops of his back feet.  He is not after fame, just true love in his home.  Jackson and Casper are currently being fostered in Kent, WA.  The boys are healthy seniors but (as is true of all of us), future medical care may be needed.  100% of the $350 adoption donation will go towards future investment in their quality of life. Please fill out Lucky Paws’ application.  https://www.luckypawsrescuewa.org/Specific inquiries can go to ellen.second.chance@gmail.com

Story
Midnight needs a home with:-No apartments-A fully fenced yard-No kids, single adult only home required Meet Midnight! Midnight is a very handsome, 1 year-old Havanese with a spunky personality. This cute pup has loads of energy and loves to jump up on and all around his human friends! Midnight loves to play fetch with his favorite toys (including squeaky toys and tennis balls!) and sniffing around on new trails. While Midnight loves going for walks and playing with his favorite person, he can be protective of his home and family. He is stressed meeting visitors and would do best in a calm, quiet household without too many guests. When guests do visit, Midnight needs to be able to go to a room of his own away from the hustle and bustle. Midnight is a special dog who bonds closely to his person. He would do best in a home with a single adult, rather than a couple or a family. He should not be around kids. While Midnight enjoys going for walks, he can be reactive to people and pets, so walks and hikes in low-traffic areas are best. With his energy and drive, Midnight could learn many new and fun tricks through positive reinforcement training. Midnight needs a home with a securely fenced in yard and would not do well in an apartment setting. Ready to open up your heart and home to this special boy?
