Himalayan kittens & cats in New Franklin, Ohio

Hi there! My name is Gizmo (11 years). I was adopted as a kitten to a lovely woman. She lived alone in a quiet house. I would sit next to her all the time watching TV with her. When her family would come over, I would get a little bit nervous and wait off in the hallway just watching them be together. It was very strange to have a noisy house when I was used to quiet. I spent 11 years with her. One day she grew very sick, so sick that she had to go into assisted living/hospice. Her daughter lived out of state and already had her own animals and knew I would not be able to go with her. She reached out to these awesome people at EBCP to help me. Since then I’ve been with a wonderful foster mom. She’s very patient and kind. She’s been teaching me to trust new people. I really like being pet and I love to eat! I really don’t know that I want to be in her lap or be picked up much yet but I’m learning. I also had bloodwork done at the vet recently, and it came back great! I’m hoping a very patient and understanding family finds me and gives me the time to adjust before expecting too much of me. I will do best if they give me a small space to get used to them.
