Please apply at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. Meet Zeus. This 3 year old, Husky is looking for a new home. Zeus is medium sized and weighs in at about 50 pounds. He has a fairly independent personality. He has lived with children and other dogs. We have heard Zeus is not the best with cats. Zeus would benefit from a fenced in yard. Zeus is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Please read entire description. Foxy's adoption fee is $175. We are requiring an active dog buddy in the home with Foxy and a fenced yard. Please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. Meet Foxy. This cutie is a medium sized, mixed breed girl that is likely some sort of perfect blend of lab, shepherd, and husky. She is one year old and weighs about 40 pounds. Foxy is amazing with other dogs and will need a dog buddy in the home. She originally came from a home with 30+ dogs. Foxy is crate trained and house trained. She is quiet in home, but a bit pesky. She needs to be entertained and supervised or she finds things to get into...as many puppies do. Foxy would love a fenced yard to run in. She is learning to be comfortable on leash. Right now, she tends to freeze up and be scared on leash. We are unsure how Foxy would react to cats. We believe she may do just fine. She would also do fine with kids who are gentle. Foxy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Meet Grumpy! This sweet fella is around two years old. He is a border collie/husky mix and MUST have a fenced in yard (he is very adventurous and will run off without a confined yard). Grumpy does well with kids and other dogs. He has been around livestock and has done fine. He is in a foster home, contact the shelter in order to set up a time to meet him.
