Asya is our 13 yo Husky who we are hoping to find a new, loving home for. She has been in our family since my wife and I were in college. She is loving and loyal and needs all the attention she can get! Since starting our family, she has not been the center or attention and our youngest daughter is afraid (mortified) of dogs. We are in the process of moving to a new home and do not have a fence to contain her. We feel like this is a good (yet difficult) time to do what’s best for her and our family at this time and locate her a new family to love and become a part of.

Hi, I’m Amarok! I’m an 8-month-old, 35 pound male Husky who loves to play, roll around on the ground, and get lots of attention! I get along great with other dogs and would be happy in a home with kids... as long as they don’t mind my “puppiness”- I have lots of energy and still need some obedience training. I also need work in the potty training dept. As long as I’m on a regular schedule, I’ll get it down real quick. I will need a family that is familiar with the breed. Whiskey was pulled from a shelter where she found herself, at no fault of her own. Whiskey is good with other dogs, kids and adults. She really enjoys attention from her humans. Whiskey is crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash. Whiskey has the most beautiful and interesting coat! Unfortunately, Whiskey is heartworm positive but has an ongoing treatment plan, using the slow kill method. This is not a diagnosis to be scared of! We would be happy to explain more about heartworms and the treatment plan! Please let us know if you would like more information on Whiskey.

I’ve had Kratos since the day he was ready to leave his mother. He’s been the highlight of my life and my best friend. He’s ready to play and run at the drop of a hat, but can turn right back around and nap for 3 hours too. He’s not loud or unruly, he’s never show aggression towards another person at all. He’s the most dorky dog you’ll probably ever meet, and the most precious thing ever. He’s trustworthy enough to roam free in the home while the humans are away, although you may want to stick the trashcan in the garage or on top of the washing machine. I’ve never had him in a crate so I don’t know how he would do in that, but he has been kept outside before. A fenced in yard would be preferable, or a lead with a wire leash has worked as well. He’s outsmarted the shock collars so I wouldn’t suggest that. He deserves the world, the best dog I’ve ever had, I’m just at a point in my life that I can’t give that to him and it breaks my heart.
