Story
Sammy is the sweetest! She loves to greet you when you come home and loves to cuddle you at night. She adores going out on adventures and getting all her energy out. I’ve been caring for her and her dog brother Brady for about 2 years now and have loved it! However they are not technically my dogs they are my friends and since he lost his job and will be moving back in with family and I am deploying (active duty military) I fear that finding them both a new home is our only option. But Sammy is my favorite girl and I love her more than anything! She is super smart and very food motivated. She does however have a tendency to not warm up to other dogs right away so I am looking to place her with someone who has the patience she needs to be her best doggy self. Kids tend to make her nervous and cats are probably not the best idea but she’s never really been around them and I feel like with the right setting she would be okay. Sammy really is such a wonderful dog!!

Story
We found Cooper about a year and a half ago. He was severely underfed, and it was obvious he was neglected, and possibly feral. We think he was about a year old, and was only 25 pounds. Now, he is an energetic, playful, and loyal friend. It takes him a minute to warm up, but once he does, he loves to play and get lots of belly pets. He is very active, and loves to go on lots of walks. Unfortunately, because of Cooper’s background, he has some behavioral problems. He is over protective of his food, and has severe separation anxiety. We feel we can no longer provide him with the help and structure he needs to behave and thrive. We are looking for someone with an open heart, who has the time and resources to help this special guy.
