She loves to play with her toys, plays with other dogs and any willing cat. She has a very sweet nature who rarely barks. Shellie came up from our rescue partner in Texas. She sleeps in my bed with my two dogs and naps during the day on the sofa or outside patio. She uses the doggie door to come and go as she pleases. She is learning to walk on a leash. She will sit and stay on command but learning to come when asked-she will stay seated until you pick her up. Shellie is potty trained but will try to tinkle on some carpet she encounters. She is very sensitive to admonishment and tries very hard to please. She is a lovely little dog. Adoption fee: $525

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marty is a 10 year old Jack Russell. He spends his days lounging around or following you around if you’re a busier person. When the night settles down he comes on the couch and we have cuddle time. He's a little bit of a kisser. He will sleep with you every night. We have stairs by our bed and he uses them just fine. Marty still has some spunk. He likes to play fetch with a ball, but stuffed animals beware as they won't last long around him. He also enjoys chewing on rawhides when he seems bored. Marty does have some food aggression. We do kennel him when we feed him and the other dogs. Sometimes we have also kenneled him when we are eating as he will get aggressive if other dogs or our cats come by us when we are eating. He would do best in a family with older children as he growls if tried to be picked up. He goes by the door when he wants to go outside and goes to the bathroom and barks when he is ready to come in. We have a fenced in yard. He does fine on walks and on a leash. He goes in a car ride just fine as well. If our other dogs bark he will bark as well. We have 3 cats, and for the most part he does ok with them. However sometimes if he's on the couch with you he won't allow the cats to join and will growl. I think he would thrive best with a home not as busy as in not a lot of other dogs and cats. In my honest opinion I think he would be the best solo companion. adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, spay, 4DX (tick/heartworm testing), prepaid microchip, dental, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. We are looking for a new home for a Jack Russell Terrier, Pablo. He has been a joy to have around, but with a new infant who may be allergic to the dog and an active toddler, we find ourselves not having enough time or energy to give Pablo the attention that he deserves and needs. We have put great thought into this, and will miss him dearly. We know that this is the best for his physical, mental, and emotional well being. Pablo is 10 years old and I fully housebroken. He is a runner and needs to be fenced in at all times when outdoors. He is good with kids but not with other dogs. He enjoys having his own space. He has never been aggressive with any humans.
