Jacky is a docile, and friendly dog who is looking for a new caring home! Jacky has a plethora of funny habits that really show he is a very kindhearted soul. For example, whenever our extended family comes over to our home for reunions, he is very eager to reunite with old faces or even meet new people! He is gentle to our young children and genuinely loves to be meet, greet and even be petted by everyone. Now, Jacky has been an outside dog who sleeps uncaged in our garage. That being said, he has not had an accident in the garage or torn up any shoes. He really does understand the difference between “his” and “our” spaces of living. We have loved Jacky ever since he was a newborn puppy, and we hope you will love him just as much as we have!

Story
Kato was a puppy a friend gave to me. He is from a pack of purebred Korean Jindo Dogs. Kato is between 7 and 8 years old. The type of home I recommend is an area where he can run freely and roam, though be sure to have high fences as he can climb when bored. Kato is a natural hunter so he may not do well with smaller pets. He is shy, timid, generally quiet unless he sees a critter beyond the fence and sometimes he talks in his sleep. He will come up to you if you approach him slowly, calmly, and low to the ground. Allow him to sniff you first. Never hover over him as it would often frighten him. When you stay seated, he will come to you. His favorite spot to be scratched is his chest right between his front legs and when he feels comfortable with you, you can scratch his neck and ears.
