Story
Animal Info: Doug is an estimated 7 year old, 58 pound Shepherd Chow mix who arrived from Texas on 3/31. He is in good health, people and dog friendly, and well socialized. He will make a great companion and family pet. We will update his profile as we get to know him. Foster update: Doug is settling in really well, he's a total happy go lucky guy. He's friendly with people and gets excited when he sees other dogs, does well in the crate - so far no barking or whining and is receptive to praise as rewards though doesn't seem to know any commands. He did learn sit. We will continue to update his profile as we get to know him better.  Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $450 which includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Adoption fees may be tax deductible and support the rescue of all dogs in our care. Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non profit organization .  Apply to adopt online at  www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application

Story
Coco is in a foster home, and is currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt her, thanks.Coco is a sweet old girl. Being a senior dog, she is a bit on the slower side but overall has a happy spirit. She would do best in a home without young children. Experience with the chow breed would be a plus! With age sometimes comes weak joints so she would also appreciate a home without many stairs. We are continuing to learn more about her so please check back again!HOW TO ADOPT - Please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at http://www.seattle.gov/animalshelter/forms.htm and email it to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foster Dog Program at adoptionreview@gmail.com.IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and the Seattle Animal Shelter asks for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. If you have questions about this dog that have not been answered above, please contact us at sasfosterdogs@gmail.com. If you would like to arrange to meet this dog, you must submit an adoption application. Thank you!
