Are you looking for a fluffy friend of your very own? Well, look no further. I'm Lori and I'm as fluffy as they come! My foster mom says that I'm also the sweetest girl you will ever meet. I'm really excited to find a home where I can share all of my love with a family who will love me as much in return. At night I sleep on my very own bed right next to my foster parents' bed and I've just started having the run of the house during the day. I also have my own special house that my foster mom calls a 'crate' and am happy to be there when I need to be. I will play with other dogs briefly but mostly prefer my own space. I am working on going potty outside but, since this is my first time in a house, it's a work in progress. I do walk very nicely on a leash and only bark from time to time. So if you're looking for a new best friend, consider me, Lori! Lori is estimated to be 1.5 years old and 69 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative. Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.

Fluffy is housebroken, loves to be pet and cuddled, and gets along great with all humans and female dogs. She loves to  go for walks and to be outside as much as she can. Fluffy is an older dog and, as many older dogs often do, she has arthritis in her left back knee. Age: 2.5 months old Dog Friendly: Yes Cat Friendly: Yes Crate Trained: Does well in an xpen Potty Trained: Working on it Hi, they call me Marshmallow Fluff, Marsh, Marshy, or Fluffball … I’m not sure what’s going on with these people and those names but they sure treat me nicely! I came as a stray from Texas and I am loving the Minnesota weather. With all my fur I’m happy to stay cool(er). I am such a good boy, I get along really well with both the resident dogs and foster dogs and they are much bigger than me! I get to spend a lot of time with them playing. My situation is really nice, I get the entire sunroom to myself and I sleep quietly all night long. My foster parents leave the TV or radio on for me so I don’t feel alone. I'm still working on potty training but I love going outside to potty and I love treats! I’m already showing my foster family when I want to go out and they tell me I am the smartest boy! My breed is part of the working group, so my foster family puts delicious treats inside snuffle mats and treat puzzles to keep my sniffer and puppy mind at work. I’ve mastered a level 1 game so onto level 2. See, I am SO smart. Also, I think I ride ok in the car, I might cry a little bit here and there but I stay quiet most of the time. I love my toys and will put them in my comfy dog bed, and I have a raised bed that I really like and I’ll put my toys on that too! Wherever I am, that’s where my toys will be! I’m just a loveable fluffy little boy, asking you to be my forever home. Adoption Fee: $695
