Hi! My name is Tucker! I'm a Black Lab. Please read my bio below! (This is a courtesy posting for a 501c3 non-profit.) Weight and Age: I am 75 pounds and am approximately 2 years old. Background: I was pulled by the rescue from a kill shelter here in Houston after several of the volunteers had seen a posting on the shelter site asking for a rescue to commit to me. I had been picked up by animal control and I am now in a loving foster home with another dog and am loving it! Medical Status: I have been neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. I have no other health issues and am heart worm negative. YAY! Activity level: I am pretty active since I'm still young and love to play with my friends (human and dog alike)! Potty Training/Crate Training: I am crate-trained and potty-trained by my foster mom! Other Animals: Loves other dogs - Not a fan of cats. Location: Houston, TX but I'm available for out of state adoptions! My adoption fee is $450 and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND air transportation from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I need a house with a fenced-in yard so I can run and play in safety. (You may see me listed in several cities looking for my new home.) Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Lab/Dobie mix. I am 1 and 1/2 years old. I weigh 60 pounds. I have had all of my shots and have been neutered so I am ready to travel to my new home with YOU. I have also been microchipped - whatever THAT is! I like playing with other doggies. I like kids, too, and those big humans named adults. I am a young and energetic pup and like to play and cuddle. Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? Meet Bison! This sweet, lovable boy had a ruff start in life but boy has he thrived once he figured out how great life could be! Bison was rescued from a hoarding situation and has done an incredible job learning to trust, how to live in a home and is such an amazing dog - we are constantly amazed at his resilience! Bison is housetrained and crate trained. He lives in a foster home with several other dogs and does great with all of them! As a matter of fact, he would do best in a home with another k9 or two to be his best friends - he loves being part of a pack! He has met some older kids and was in their lap immediately! He loved all the cuddles and kisses! He is very playful and happy and LOVES toys! He will throw them up in the air and catch them if there&#39s no one around to play fetch. He likes to be touching all the time and will put his paws on his people whenever they pet him. He extremely loving and affectionate so if you&#39re looking for a cuddle bug, Bison is your dog! He likes couch cuddles, taking walks, treats and learning new tricks! Bison is currently being fostered in Houston, TX. He would come to his new home on professional transport.
