Story
Ashley is a sweet, shy 45 lb lab mix looking for a forever home. She was living outdoors in a sanctuary for the past several years with little human interaction. She does well with all sizes of other dogs. She doesn't really play with other dogs but seems to appreciate their leadership and ideally would have a four legged companion in her forever home. If she could have a place with a securely fenced yard for her to roam that would be amazing while she learns to trust. She loves walks with her foster family, but it took time for her to feel comfortable with her handler. Ashley prefers to get attention at her own pace. She is quite nervous at first so will need someone to be patient while keeping her safe so she isn't able to dart out of doors. Ashley loves wet dog food, comfy dog beds, and after she feels comfortable with her person, she loves to follow you everywhere and even lean in for some chin scratches. Ashley has free roam of the house when her foster is away. We are guessing Ashley to be around 9 years old, and her adoption fee is $100. Although Ashley is a bit of a project dog, we believe in the right home she will blossom and be a fantastic companion. If interested in meeting Ashley please apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org!All adoptions are $200 per dog which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $100 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Masha has had a rough journey of being a mama to 8 puppies and being treated for heartworms, but she's happy to announce that she's finally ready to find a forever home of her own! Masha is an affectionate and playful Lab mix. She loves to be your shadow and has intense emotional empathy (she gets concerned and whines whenever there’s crying on TV). She does have some training issues to work out (jumping, excited barking, and play-biting) but she’s very treat motivated and a quick learner. Ruby is about 50 pounds and estimated to be 2 years old.All adoptions are $200 per dog which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $100 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
