Trubbles is a very sweet, 6 year old, dark brindle lab mix. She is extremely shy, but easy going. Never barks that we have heard. Timid. Will take a few days to settle. Easy to handle, easy to walk. Story
We adopted him from the humane society so we are not sure of his actual breed. He can be very loving, but he is very high energy and requires not only constant supervision but constant engagement as well. We have had a trainer come to the house twice and she referred to him as “a lot of dog”. He is smart and knows several basic commands such as sit, shake, come, down and down stay. He is a big chewer and chews through most toys that are “indestructible”. He hasn’t bitten anyone, but he has lunged at us several times when we are trying to get him to obey commands. He knows he is stronger than our younger kids and tries to over power them; therefore we do not feel he is a good fit for kids. He seems to do better with adults and only a few people at a time. We are rehomimg him as we are not a good fit for him. He would likely do well in a rural setting where he can freely run or where he can be frequently engaged in a task.
