Welcome Imani to SAAP!! Imani came to us with an eye infection and she had a minor surgery but is all good now! She did great with her cone for 2 weeks and now is ready to find her furever family! She gets along great with my resident but they mostly ignore each other. They are both a little timid around other dogs at first so slow intros are recommended to make sure she is comfortable. She is so sweet and loves to be loved on. She is crate trained and housebroken and around 3 yrs old. She is timid around new people in a new place but warms right up. More to come on this sweet girl. Annie said she is tired of foster mom hiding her from ya'll and is breaking free from her med hold. Annie is a 16 year old deaf lab mix. I'll be honest SAAP Nation, she came from absolute deplorable conditions in rural Kentucky. Annie is % happy to have a roof over her head (something she has lacked most of her life probably) and food in her belly. Oh you want her to have a cushy bed on the floor? She'll love you even more. Annie is deaf and foster mom is working on hand signs which she is learning quickly. Annie does have a heart murmur that is non symptomatic thus doesn't slow her down.
