Story
Tanner is a drop dead gorgeous boy around 1 yr and 40lbs. We have no idea of his parents and are just guessing on breed. He is a solid, lowrider with amazing eyes. He is not hypoallergenic nor is he nonshedding. He is almost housetrained but adopters should be patient as he learns a new home and routine. He gets along well with people and dogs but he will not be exposed to cats. He is adorable and fun and a very sweet cuddler. His fee is $850. He is fully vetted. He is fostered in Houston TX no matter what it says anywhere else on this ad (please do not ask where he is located - the answer is Houston TX) and won't be transported until adopted so you cannot meet prior to adoption. Approved adopters can video chat. Submit completed application to houstonstreetdogs@gmail.com. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYVTPXoOQUw

Story
Meet Bison! This sweet, lovable boy had a ruff start in life but boy has he thrived once he figured out how great life could be! Bison was rescued from a hoarding situation and has done an incredible job learning to trust, how to live in a home and is such an amazing dog - we are constantly amazed at his resilience! Bison is housetrained and crate trained. He lives in a foster home with several other dogs and does great with all of them! As a matter of fact, he would do best in a home with another k9 or two to be his best friends - he loves being part of a pack! He has met some older kids and was in their lap immediately! He loved all the cuddles and kisses! He is very playful and happy and LOVES toys! He will throw them up in the air and catch them if there&#39s no one around to play fetch. He likes to be touching all the time and will put his paws on his people whenever they pet him. He extremely loving and affectionate so if you&#39re looking for a cuddle bug, Bison is your dog! He likes couch cuddles, taking walks, treats and learning new tricks! Bison is currently being fostered in Houston, TX. He would come to his new home on professional transport. Story
Hi! My name is Tucker! Please read my bio below! Weight and Age: I am 75 pounds and am approximately 2 years old. Background: I was pulled by the rescue from a kill shelter here in Houston after several of the volunteers had seen a posting on the shelter site asking for a rescue to commit to me. I had been picked up by animal control and I am now in a loving foster home with another dog and am loving it! Medical Status: I will be neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, and current on heartworm and flea preventatives. I have no other health issues and am heart worm negative. YAY! Activity level: I am pretty active since I'm still young and love to play with my friends (human and dog alike)! Potty Training/Crate Training: I am crate trained and learning potty training from my foster mom! Other Animals: Loves other dogs but vocalizes when playing so if another dog is reactive they may not like him. Not a fan of cats. Special Needs: I was very skinny when I was found and can have some food aggression with bones and my food bowl. I'm fine when my foster mom is near my bowl but I don't like it when another dog comes close so I eat in my kennel and then there's no problem! Location: Houston, TX but I'm available for out of state adoptions! If you have any questions please email my foster mom at nicole.whar94@yahoo.com

Story
Pico is the sweetest pup you will ever meet. I've had him for five years after adopting him from a kill shelter at age 1.5 (ish) in Kentucky. Pico is healthy and loves with all his heart and his whole body; he is a solid leaner and licker. 98% of the time, Pico is a very good dog, coming when called, easily trained, patient, not territorial and gets along with other dogs, etc. The other 2% breaks my heart: Pico has a history of randomly lunging at strangers. Typically, it is not visibly aggressive, but it does scare people. Pico is also mouthy, and as a large dog, lunging and being mouthy create quite a scene. Pico needs an owner who has time and patience to work with him on a daily basis to welcome strangers calmly and nondefensively. Pico has brought more joy to my life than I can describe, but I am unable to provide the kind of training and patience required to breed the true confidence in him that he needs to get over the mental anxiety that causes the random lunging.
