Story
My family and I live near Fayetteville, NC. We have a lab mix who I have had for about 7 years. He is a good dog, but very hyper and can be slightly aggressive at times (mostly when I am around, typically not bad when I'm not around as I believe he is being protective). We have been having a lot of trouble with him escaping the back yard, especially since my husband's dog passed away the year before last. We have tried everything we can think of, but it continues to be an issue- getting into neighbors yards and running the neighborhood. We also have a one year old. He is very good with her, but too big to be around her too much so he stays outside most of the time. We are at a point after several attempts and conversations we realize it would be better for everyone involved if we could find him a new home. We would be willing to donate money to help with the costs. We have been turned down by other organizations because I mentioned that he can be aggressive with other dogs.
