Story
Brody the lab mix we pulled from Harris County with the terrible eye infections due to injury, then he fought kennel cough. Well...he is ready to start looking for a new family, now that he can actually see. He is great with kids and dogs of all sizes. Very gentle when taking treats. Fully house trained, neutered and all vaccines. Appx 7 mths old, he knows a few commands, walks great on a leash, loves to play hard and cuddle. Adoption fee is $350, plus a $250 transportation fee from Houston, Texas to Seattle, Washington. Thank you for considering a rescued pup! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our dogs have been dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped. If old enough they are spayed or neutered, otherwise it will be noted and under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon request and proof of surgery. A transportation fee of $250 is required and covers health certificate to travel as well as transportation. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.

Story
My boyfriend and I adopted Ruca from my friend when she was just six weeks old. She is now 1 year and 4 months old. She acquired parvovirus when we was just eight weeks old and missed out on some of that early socialization because we were afraid to take her out a lot after she recovered. It only allowed me to put two breeds down in her profile but she also has border collie in her mix of genes. I love Ruca very much and I am sure you will too once she warms up. Ruca is an anxious doggy which makes her reactive toward other dogs, she will generally do fine at the dog park but needs to be watched closely in case there is a dog that makes her too nervous. Ruca needs an owner who will ensure she is active whether that be having a yard to run around in or taking her out to play fetch with her. She needs an experienced owner who will work with her to becoming more social. I know there is an owner that can provide these for her better than I can. Please consider adopting my sweet girl.

Story
Meet Bizirik Bizirik is a very lovable 6 month old Black Labrador Retriever weighing around 35lbs His foster mom knows him best, so we will let her tell you about Bizirik: Bizirik is named after the Basque word meaning "ALIVE". I have owned many dogs in the past (German Shepards, Terriers, Mini Dobermans, Jack Russels, Labs) and I have to say Bizirik is the smartest and most affectionate dog I have ever owned. He is very clever in knowing what people in the family are getting ready to do and he gauges his actions accordingly. He knows when we are settled in and he will not be going out, but when he senses it is time for a walk he really perks up. Bizirik is very content to spend time with someone at home for long periods of time and he likes to have the occasional interaction to give him the feeling of belonging, so this is why a multi person family would be a good home for Bizirik. Ideally, Bizirik should be taken out for 2 or 3 daily walks of at least 20 minutes, although he will happily go out for longer walks or runs. Bizirik is very socially mature and friendly. He is also very good and friendly with people and really very pleasant in social situations. I regularly take him to my local pet store, and Hardware Store and he is always gentle and brings a smile to everyones' faces. I would like to see Bizirik move to a good family and know that he will be a really positive and addition to people's lives. Bizirik is neutered and up to date on all shots and vaccines and microchipped. Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom.
