Serious inquiries only.Turbo here! My name is no joke! I am ready to go on many adventures with my lucky future family. I am a busy boy who could use a bit of work on my manners but I am a smart cookie so if you are committed to help me with training I think we will excel together! Due to my excitable nature I am looking for a very active home with dog experience, kids over 15 would be best and another dog friend might be cool too but we would need to meet first to see if they like my style (Currently due to the risk of COVID-19, no dog to dog meetings can take place at the shelter so until CHS is open to the public I will need a home with no other animals to be safe) . Little animals like cats and rabbits are just too exciting for me so best not to live in the same house with one. On the colder days when we can't be outside as much I would love to work on brain games like food enrichment toys etc. The team at CHS can give you lots of ideas on how to help be be my best doggie self. Story
Sully comes an environment of abuse, and will need an experienced and patient owner to help continue socializing him to men particularly. He bonds very quickly to those working with them, but does have fear behavior meeting some men (big bark, retreating). He plays well with female dogs over males, is not for a cat home, or a home with children at this time. He has good basic commands and leashwork but is still nervous in the vehicle.
