Story
Gwen is a very playful, energetic dog who would play fetch with her ball all day if she could. She is about 6 years old. She and our other dog have recently not been getting along. The two dogs used to get along fine and would sleep in bed together but as soon as I became pregnant, they both became very protective and defensive with one another. Gwen needs to go to a home without other dogs and preferably with older children as she needs a lot of attention and people to play with her regularly. She has some previous behavioral training and follows simple commands such a sit, stay, shake and come here. She has been primarily an indoor dog but does spend a few hours a day outside. Loves to cuddle with owners at night and will try to sleep in your bed if she is allowed. Looking to give Gwen a loving home as it breaks our hearts to see her go!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hey all. Romeo's my name, chillin' is my game. I am loving this rescued life. I like the bed, the couch, even the tile! It's great! I also like to play with other dogs. I've even ventured to the dog park! When I'm not playing, I'm pretty happy just relaxing, meandering on walks and taking the day as it comes. If you're looking for someone to hang out with you at home and take leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, I'm your guy! I can't wait to meet you. Romeo has proven himself to be completely worthy of the name. He's a lover, not a fighter. I gets along great with big and small dogs, has done awesome at adoption events, goes to stores with his foster mom...he's a great dog. It's high time he's found his forever home! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org. The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
Meet Alicia! Alicia is a female, 2 year old, Labrador Retriever / Pointer blend. She is 53 pounds.Alicia arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender due to a divorce.Alicia is very overwhelmed here and can be barky at strangers. She takes some time to warm up, but once she calms down, she is very sweet. She was mainly an outdoor dog so she is not house trained, but she is crate trained. She is not leash trained. Once she comes home and gets used to her surroundings, she will be fun and playful. She hasn't had the chance to show off her learning skills yet and can't wait to learn her basic commands. She enjoys running, toys, fetch, tug-of-war and water. She lived with other dogs and cats and did well with both.Alicia is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home today!

Story
Ahri is a happy and energetic sweetheart. I adopted her from a family of breeders 6 years ago. She was born in November, 2013. She does not like younger children, but does okay with kids 5 or older. She loves going to dog parks and playing catch. Since having kids, Ahri has not received the attention she needs. I am hoping an active family with older kids can provide Agri with the exercise and attention she deserves.

Story
Delta is a loving lab that requires a lot of attention. She loves to run and play fetch. She had grown up alone and is not reacting well to the new puppy and baby. She has not bit anyone but we think she would be happier as an only dog.
