Some of these beautiful creatures have been through hell, and we do not want to set you or the dog up for failure. Adopting a rescue dog takes time and patience and sometimes tears. They are worth it, every single minute of it. Asher was found shot in a ditch at only a couple months old. He recovered, but is paralyzed and in a wheelchair or drag bag. He is the happiest little boy, and gets around extremely well. He does wear diapers, as due to his paralysis, has no control over his bladder / bowels. He is worth everything it takes to care for him, as he returns the love tenfold

Penelope is an 8 month old, medium sized Lab mix that is very petite and weighs about 45 pounds. She is energetic and would love an active owner who has a fenced in yard. Penelope has been around older children, but would likely be too much for toddler ages. Penelope has not had experience with cats or many other dogs, but a meet and greet would be recommended. Penelope is looking for a new home due to spending a great deal of time alone. She would thrive being taught some basic commands and having regular attention and routine. Penelope is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, and microchipped. This 9 month old pup is looking for a new home. She is very medium sized and weighs about 45 pounds. She does well with medium / large dogs. She is a bit bossy for smaller dogs and has had no experience with cats. Holly is good with children, but can be a bit bouncy for younger children not steady on their feet. This is improving as she is learning basic commands in her foster home. Holly is house trained and crate trained. She does well on leash, in the car, and in public. She also accompanies her foster mom on 2-3 mile jogs and does well. She would do best in a fenced yard. Holly is fairly quiet and loves to zonk out and cuddle during down time. Holly is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She was originally living in a home with 14 other dogs and is very unsure about being at the kennel. She seems to do better initially with women. Gypsy is about 1-2 years old. She weighs about 46 pounds. Gypsy would love a home where she can have some life experiences and humans who will love her through her shyness. Gypsy's siblings have all thrived outside of the kennel and have become fantastic dogs in their homes. Each have done well with children and strangers. They have potty trained quite easily, and Gypsy is one that clearly is mostly housetrained if not all the way there. We have no doubt Gypsy will be the same. Gypsy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Does Gypsy have a hero seeing her post today?
