You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Romeo! I am big boy with a big and adventurous heart! I love to go out to the park and explore the fields and (my all time favorite), play in the water! I truly believe I was born to swim...I would swim all day if I was allowed to! I love to dive under to get rocks from the bottom of the creeks, and I love playing a good ole' game of fetch, too! I will retrieve anything you throw into the water! I am looking for a home with no kids or cats, however, I do get along with other dogs and enjoy their company! I would love a family who is very outdoorsy and adventurous just like me, and who has strong dog handling experience. I am a smart boy and I can't wait to show you everything that I know! Romeo's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations plus a 6 week basic obedience course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha, IA. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives.  Our adoption process includes reference and vet checks, a background check and a home visit.  Please complete an adoption application for consideration at AdoptHope.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Buck is working on his manners, but his lab personality and zest for life make him sooo easy to love! An ideal home for Buck will have big dog experience, enjoy working with an active dog that loves to learn and please their owner, no cats What the Buck are you waiting for?? Story
This little girl is Betty. She currently weighs 21 pounds. We think she is about 12 weeks old and expect her to be a large adult. Betty is an outgoing pup and loves to explore new things. She is the only pup who has a heart on her tummy. Betty, seven other puppies, and two mama dogs were dumped over a fence at a boarding facility. They reached out to our rescue for help. The two moms, Carlee and Kashi weigh 47 and 45 pounds. We don’t know which puppies belong to which mom. They were all dumped together. Betty is ready to go to her forever home. Normally when pups go to their homes they are already spayed/neutered. Because of Covid 19 the vets aren’t doing routine surgeries. Betty’s adopters will need to get her to one of our vets to be spayed when they start scheduling routine surgeries again. Her spay is included in her adoption fee. Betty is microchipped and has had her first distemper/parvo vaccination. She will need her second distemper/parvo booster around April 11th and her third booster around May 2nd. Betty also needs her rabies vaccine after she is 16 weeks old.   Betty is doing great at her house training but is a young puppy so her forever home needs to have the ability to get her out to potty every 4 hours throughout the day until she is older. Betty requires a physically fenced yard to run and play safely. If you would like to meet Betty, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org.  If you have questions about Betty please contact Rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657.  Adopters must be within a two hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA.  Indoor homes only.  Adoption donation $250.
