We live on 10 acres surrounded by farmland. "Polly" showed up one day and just sort of never left. She loves the kids, dogs, and cats. She is very friendly. You can tell she has had litters in the past. We assume she was left in the country. Fast forward to today- we are moving to town and can't have an outside dog. Looking for an acreage home for her.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Tug is one happy fella, that is sure looking for someone to share his love and active lifestyle with! He is estimated to be around 6 years old, and seems to be in the prime of his life. Tug was found as a stray in northern Missouri, and with no local pound in the area he was sent to a pound in Iowa. Unfortunately his family couldn't be found, so Safe Haven was asked to take Tug in and find him a new forever family. Tug knows a few basic commands and is very food motivated, so that always helps while our volunteers work to further his obedience training and learning to walk nicely on leash. Tug does not do well with cats or other small animals (rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc), but he does enjoy being around other dogs. He is an active guy that would love an active family with a bug yard to play in, or to jog with, and just keep him physically fit and mentally happy!  Interested in adopting this pet?
