Because of this, she is still learning to trust, however, has been getting better every day! Once she warms up she is a cuddly, loving girl who loves to play, especially with other four-legged friends. From day one, even if she was scared she really lights up when she sees another dog, she is like a totally different dog. Winter will do great in a family that is patient and will continue to work with her on her socialization and help feel even more comfortable around human friends. She is patiently waiting for the perfect forever family to call her very own!

Story
Ladies and Gentlemen - Domino "Never have to worry about what is worst or what is best" Oh oh Domino Domino was found as a stray and never claimed. He was born in March of 2022 - we think :) He is an 80 lb Lab mixed with an energetic goofball. He should be fine with older kids and adults. He isn't overly fond of the other dogs here, so he might do better as a single dog until he gets used to being in a home setting again. Domino also should be in a cat free home. Domino has a big personality and loves attention, he keeps a clean kennel here, so the transition to home should be easier. Domino really wants a home and a family. Will you come and make his dreams come true? All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only. If you have any questions feel free to send us an email at freeborncohumanesociety@gmail.com, send us a message on Facebook, or call or text 507-377-8501.
