Story
Scooby has been with my family since he was three weeks old, and my sister brought him in off the streets. He's currently six years old, and since my family didn't know precisely when his birthday was, my parents picked St. Patrick's Day. So every year, that is the day we celebrate his birthday on since. He is very protective and prefers to live with a woman since he doesn't trust many men. When he was little, he was abused by a man, and due to that, I feel he may have specific behavioral issues such as disliking going to the vet and groomers. I think he would be a perfect pet for someone with experience in training and loves to be outside. He loves the snow, and he loves to play with his chew toys. He can sit, lay, and give you his paw, but when overly excited, he may jump up to lick your face. He deserves someone who can truly love him and provide him with the very best life possible. If you may be the person, please message me, or if you have a question, feel free to ask anything.

Story
Meet Star.  She is a beautiful, 7 year old, 60 lb, Labrador Retriever looking for a great forever home.  Star is sweet, smart and devoted.  She is responsive when called, house trained and crate trained.  She gets along great with her two foster brothers but it does take her awhile to warm up to other dogs.  She would really prefer to be an only dog.  She loves to play in the fenced in yard.  She is great with people, loves to go for walks and loves to be loved on.  She is definitely a people dog.  Star is your typical sweet Lab.  She would do better in a home without small children; sometimes she forgets her size and could accidently knock them over.  Star is spayed, current on all vaccinations, on monthly preventative and microchipped.  It would be great if someone in her forever home was home most of the day as Star does experience a little anxiety when left alone.  She does bark and try to get out of her crate.  This gets better once she gets in a routine and she is doing much better now that she has been in her foster home for a while.  If you are looking for a wonderful Lab to add to your family then you have found her.  To learn more about Star please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615/943-7311.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.

Story
Annie Mae is an adult Black Lab mix girl that is just 3 years and only 34 lbs.  She is perky and spirited and needs some love and guidance.  This girl came from a terrible living condition in a small town in Tennessee. If you are looking to rescue a dog that truly needed to be rescued then Annie Mae is your girl.  Critter Cavalry Rescue was called by a police officer to help pull some dogs from a family who were neglecting them and their food, water and shelter were horrible.  We found Annie Mae and another male dog in a pen and she was hungry for love and attention.  She is a  smart girl who just needs a family who will give her love and teach her things.  She is full of cuteness with a unique bob tail that is distinguishing.  She loves to play with her toys and has an adorable bounce as she runs around the yard.  She will need a fenced in yard and someone who will be willing to spend time with her.  If you are wanting a girl who will learn what a real family is all about and know that you are giving this sweet girl what she has never had.... then waste no time to email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Story
When you name a dog Princess you would think that maybe the dog was going to have the chance to lead a charmed life, right?  Well this Lab mix girl has not been leading a fairy tale life in the past (she was outdoor fulltime in a kennel with another dog who was not nice to her) and she found herself in a shelter and hours away from being euthanized. Her current foster mom contacted Critter Cavalry Rescue and asked if she could pull this girl from the shelter and save her life with CCR rescue’s support to find her a wonderful home.  We are looking for a great family that has another dog as a companion.   Princess is a young Lab mix girl that has a calmness and warmth in her eyes and face that makes you realize that there is a depth to her that makes you want to reassure her that she will never have to worry about being loved unconditionally. She is what you call a “Velcro Dog” and will follow you everywhere in the house.  She loves to play with other dogs and she adores toys with squeakers that make all the noises that makes a dog happy.  This girl is showing us more and more every day just what a wonderful, loving girl she can be.  She is housebroken and has wonderful couch potato dog skills. This two year old girl is 45 pounds and just grateful to have a home life inside with a dog bed to call her own.  She is crate trained but prefers to NOT be in a crate if she can help it.  She is good with other dogs, cats and even sweet little babies.  She is a calm demeanor and yet playful, delighting in tug of war with other dogs or fetching a ball that her foster mom throws for her.  Her puppylike delight in playing is blossoming every day and is so sweet to watch.  A fenced yard to run with full abandon would be heaven for her and we do ask for that to be in her future.  If you would like to consider making this girl your forever Princess please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Story
Gibson is a 4 year old Black Lab male that weighs 60-65 pounds and is a  mellow guy that needs to own his home and his people.  He has belonged to someone in thempast because this handsome boy loads up in a car with the ease of BUTTAH!   Just say “let’s go” and Gibson is right there to hop in and ride off in to the sunset. He is housebroken and very mellow and low key.  We have tried him in other homes and he was fine with most of the other dogs but where he is now, the dog and Gibson,Don’t gel.  Gibson needs to be King of the home and the family’s world.  He is a good boy and a happy well-adjusted dog that is ready to make your world a happy one!
