Rosie is an amazing dog, she’s lovable, great and friendly with kids. She can easily get intimidated with dogs that are her size or bigger so she will need eased into that relationship. She loves cats, great with puppies. She can get attached very easily, so she’ll need a lot of love. She loves to run outside but if she does not know the area that well she will figure it out, by running around multiple times until she’s comfortable. (Block and street)

Story
Remington was purchased as a year old puppy trained by a prison inmate for the purpose of adoption. Remington came to us with all his initial shots, neutered, and potty-trained. He is mild manner - excellent with kids, strangers, cats, and dogs. We have owned him since 2011, and he only barks when he sees deer. He craves attention and affection, loves going on walks. We have kept Remington in our garage but during cold winters we bring him into our mudroom. Remington could stay in the home, but due to his shedding we have elected to keep him in the garage and mudroom areas. Remington has a skin allergy and he is taking Apoquel. We are seeking to re-home him because we are becoming empty-nesters and can no longer give him the care and attention he needs.

Story
Artie is a one year old Labradoodle with a lot of energy and love to share. Artie has an unknown past that has left him with A LOT of anxiety and neediness of his people that he expresses via barking, jumping, and mild nipping. Artie is still working on his manners and has a way to go with his impulses control. We’re working on his jumping and nipping by ignoring him when we come into the house until he calms down. He lives with a pack of huskies that have been helping with his behavior and keeping him in check and polite. Artie has access to a doggie door which helps keep his stress levels down since he cannot be crated. Artie is very sweet and loving. He adores cuddling on the couch, but tends to submissive lick after a short while. He likes sleeping in the bed with us and eventually moves to the top of the stairs or the couch during the night.  Artie’s needs: privacy fence, dog door, helper dog(s) with strong, confident personality(ies), patience, and a running buddy/doggie daycare.  Artie is a work in progress that needs a person/family with patience and determination to help this boy reach his full potential. Chester is a male, nuetered, senior dog (45-50 lbs) in need of a forever family! He is friendly, fun, affectionate and loves to be close to his people. He is extremely heathy, active and full of spunk. He gets so excited when it's time to go for a walk, but is also very happy being outside in a fenced yard. He really enjoys fresh air and sunshine. He sleeps nicely in his crate. He is a smart guy - he knows basic commands like sit, shake and down! He also loves to play fetch. Chester has always been an only pet, and would do best in a family that does not have any other dogs or cats. He is getting along well with the small dogs in his foster family, but still has issues sharing food, toys, and others attention. Chester is a loyal companion, looking for a family to unconditionally love him. Chester was recently vet checked. She says he is extremely healthy.

Story
We don't want to do this but it's not fair to Clyde how he's living currently. Clyde was adopted along with his brother from a family friend as a puppy 5 years ago. He's very lovable and we love him, unfortunately we're just not home enough to give him the life he deserves and between taking care of our son, our home and working he doesn't get the love he deserves. His kennel is his safe space even when it's open that's where he will spend his time. He loves food and treats. He'll tell you when he has to go outside by sitting by the door or coming to you, but if you don't take him out right then he will have an accident. He's a power chewer, hates baths, and he won't sit still to have his claws trimmed. He's mischievously smart he'll figure out how to open doors, and run if he thinks he can get away with it. He likes to play fetch, and drinks water like it's going out of style. When he he gets anxious he'll chew on himself. Overall he's a great dog, he just needs a patient loving home
