Story
This sweet older female arrived as a stray and was never claimed. It doesn't look like she has had an easy time of it in life so she has definitely shown some Moxie in her life! We guess her to be 6-8 years old, but that is one secret she is not giving up! She is spayed and we believe her to be house trained. She has an independent spirit but soulful eyes. She appears to co-exist with other dogs but doesn't have a tremendous desire to play, or otherwise interact with them. We do not know her life story, but we do know she makes us smile everyday! She will need a cat-free home. Moxie's adoption fee is $165. All our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, heartworm or felv/fiv tested, vaccinated for core vaccinations, treated for internal/external parasites.

Story
Bjorn is a sweet, senior and a gentle giant who gets along with all people, children and other dogs. This extremely loving lab/mastiff mix, now in his golden years (around 11-12), enjoys laying in the sun near his best friend, Honey. He greets visitors with a loud bark but this is because he’s excited they’re there. Bjorn is afraid of very loud sounds, like shooting, and should be kept indoors or in a secure yard when there are loud sounds because he has tried to run away from the noise. He mostly likes to relax. Bjorn has a tumor (non cancerous) on his chest that is growing into the muscle. The vet said that at his age, it’s not operable and in time it will cause him discomfort. Due to this condition, the vet says he’s on hospice care. These wonderful animals were owned by a father and daughter who tragically passed away within three days of each other this year. The surviving family members must move out of state to a property that doesn’t allow animals.

Story
Hi I'm Missy May! I am approximately 2 and a half years old and just under 50lbs. I am a wonderfully sweet girl who gets along with dogs, kids and cats alike. I am an active girl who can't wait to go on walks with my new family! I do have hip dysplasia and early signs of arthritis in my left knee, so staying at a healthy weight is very important for my health so there isn't necessary strain on my joints. Think I am the loving family member you are looking for? Have your people call my people to make an appointment to meet me!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Max is 5 years old and needs a loving home that’ll give him attention and have room to run around in. He has been chipped and neutered from the pound which can make him act out. He is a loving dog once he finds his forever home. I have gave him away and got him back multiple times because the owners couldn’t afford to take care of him or because they were really mean to him.
