Sammy is a ~4 year old male lab mix with a fantastic personality! I adopted him from the pound about two years ago and he has been great. When I adopted him I was in school and was living in a house with a yard. I have since graduated, started a job, and moved to a much smaller space. Sammy remains to be a source of great joy in my life, but it is not fair that he stay with me. He has energy and needs to play. I work long hours and cannot provide this for him. Sammy needs a family or individual who has time to spend with him. He loves car rides and running through the woods. He minds well and will come when called (most of the time). He is good with other dogs he just likes to get to know them first. He cannot go to a home with cats. Sammy will be a great addition to your active family's life and will change it for the better!

11/24/19 This precious girl, Dixie, was found as a small puppy along with her sister, Trixie, in July 2015, under a trash can. Trixie has long been adopted, while Dixie still sets, waits and hopes for a family to call her own. YES, 4 1/2 years folks.. that is just FAR to long for a dog this sweet to wait. Properly introduced, Miss DIxie gets along with other dogs. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines and HW neg. Won't you please give Dixie a chance? Even if it is just to foster so she can know what a home environment is like, as she has been living in a kennel situation all these years😢 Dixie and her sister were found a tiny puppies under a trash can in the Texas heat. Fortunately, the woman who found them, found them in time that they didnt suffer any heat stroke or worse. Her sister was adopted, and Dixie was left without a family. She would so love to have one to call her own. She is a very sweet girl and loves to run and play. She gets along with other dogs for the most part, that are her size or bigger, she may be a bit rough on little ones. Once she gets her energy out, she is laid back. Dixie of course is a black dog, who tends to get over looked.. she has been with us for 3 years and she deserves to have a family to call her own.
