Story
Maple is believed to be a Min Pin mix, born January, 2020.  Maple had a hard start to life. She was abandoned at a park and then located by animal control.and kept in a shelter for a week. Now this sweet girl is safe and is searching for her forever home. We are unsure of breed but looks very much like a miniture pincher mix. Maple is very laid back and loves to snuggle. Maple can startle easily by large dogs but has been sweet with dogs and cats. She would do amazing in a home with other medium or small dogs. Maple is sweet to every person she meets so would do well in any family with older children. She maybe too small for small children, and she startles by fast movements and will yelp due to being scared. She will make an amazing addition to some lucky family. The suggested adoption donation for Maple is $350.  We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.  Your donation goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, as well as providing supportive services to animals in homes. Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION.  Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dog’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match.  If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet.  The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note:  We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter.  We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs.  If you and the dog are not a good match, we will help you select another dog, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.
