You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Did I catch your eye? Learn more about me by reading my profile below; I just might be your new best friend! Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule. Age: Approximately 7 years old Weight: 16 pounds Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes, on a schedule Crate trained: Not a huge fan of the crate   My foster family has signed me up for the follow adoption events:   Jerrie is one of the sweetest girls on the block.  She has seen a lot in her lifetime and she has learned what is important In life, spending time around people who love you, a warm cozy bed and delicious food.  Jerrie loves to snuggle and her favorite place is by your side.   She is easy going, loves other dogs, cats and is okay with pet birds too. She still has some spunk and will play with her foster brother now and then when the mood is right.  Although she can’t hear anymore, it doesn’t get her down. Her main request is to have a loving forever home with someone who isn’t gone too often, and another dog to help her feel safe. She's potty trained on a schedule, and will dance for her supper. She has a tendency to be on the heavy side, so needs a family that will help her maintain her girlish figure (we've got to protect those little legs). She has discovered toy and chew bones, and loves both. Still the thing she loves most is snuggling and giving kisses. She's just a little love bug whose dream is a family of her own where she can share all the love she has to give. Could that be you? Adoption Fee: $325  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. INTERESTED IN MEETING ME? Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.   ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: Wellness check Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate) Age appropriate vaccines - rabies as required by law and distemper combo or proof of positive titer test Heartworm test if over 7 months of age Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites Microchip &#226&#128&#139 ~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care. &#226&#128&#139~ Adoption fees are non-negotiable and fees are listed on the dog's profile   ~ Adoption fees can be paid the following ways with the required sales tax (7.525%) added: PayPal Credit Card Cash WANT TO HELP SAVE MORE DOGS?   Healing Hearts Rescue is a nonprofit, foster-based rescue located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota that  is 100% funded through adoption fees and donations .  We are excited for you to join us on this mission to save the lives of dogs in need.   We believe every dog deserves to be loved as true members of a family and are committed to fulfilling that dream one dog at a time! Story
Age: Approximately 1 year old Weight: 17 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: No Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: To Potty Pads Crate trained: No ****No cats and a fenced yard is required **** Siouxsie was found abandoned while pregnant. She is a small Miniature Pinscher who gave birth to her puppies here in Minnesota with one of our whelping fosters. Siouxsie does well with calmer dogs however cats are not an option for her. She can be very cuddly and would be happy sitting on your lap all day. Siouxsie is an amazing little girl. She has learned many things from our Dachshunds like using a doggie door to go in/out to the yard, use stairs to get on and off bed (most of time) and waiting to have her food bowl set down. Our yard has a metal fence so she tends to bark and run up and down when people go by. We are working on that, but our dogs do the same. She will signal if she needs to go out and only had a couple of accidents in the house when we first got her. We are currently working on sit, stay and not jumping on people. Walking on a leash has been easy, but we have not yet taken her out in public. She is friendly, but needs time to warm up to people. She will pick her person and be by your side including bedtime. She has met some of our family and friends and done well. She was stand offish with my granddaughter (11 years old). Siousxie would do well with an active family and would love to have another active dog to play with. Very smart and would do well with proper training. Note: She bonded with me and cries when I leave so would do best with no shared walls. She settles down after a while, but will be very excited when you get home. Adoption fee: $425

Starsky is a cool little dude.  He dances and loves to make his people laugh.  Starsky is food motivated and will do all sorts of lovely tricks for food.  He is good with other dogs and people are definitely his favorite. Starsky is not big into play time, but he enjoys chasing a ball and hiding/burying his toys around the house.   While Starsky gets along with kids and other dogs, he would be best suited as an only dog, or with another older dog.   Starsky would appreciate a forever family who is home for most of the day. The longer he is alone, we have noticed, the more reactive he becomes.   Outside is not Starsky's favorite place, especially when it is cold, but he would love to hang out with you on the deck, or the couch, or where ever you are.     Feel free to fill out an ADOPTION APPLICATION by clicking on the ADOPT button below.
